- MD/DNB in Anesthesiology / Medicine / TB & Chest /Emergency Medicine from an institute or Medical College recognized by Medical Council of India.
- The essential qualification must be completed in all respects before the last date of receipt of application

Name of the course: PDCC in Sleep medicine by department of Pulmonary Medicine
Essential qualifications
- MD in Medicine / Pulmonary Medicine /Pediatrics/Psychiatry/Physiology from an institute or Medical College recognized by Medical Council of India.

Number of seats Two – (02 UR)
Name of the course: PDCC Dermatopathology in department of Pathology & Lab. Medicine
Essential qualifications
- MD/DNB in Pathology or Dermatology from an institute or Medical College recognized by Medical Council of India.

45 years (as for Senior Resident) and relaxations as per Gov norms

Advertisement and selection process
The applications are invited on a prescribed Performa. The application form and fees must be submitted by Speed Post / by hand latest by 15th May, 2020. In the Office of Registrar, Saket Nagar, AIIMS, Bhopal – 462020. For any postal delay AIIMS Bhopal is not responsible.
Application fees
For candidates Rs. 1000/- (DD in favour of Director AIIMS Bhopal Payable at Bhopal) Inadequately filled / incomplete applications may be summarily rejected If the number of eligible applications is more than 20 per seat, a separate written examination will be conducted followed by an interview.
Stage I
Written test carrying weightage of Max. 60 marks of 60 minutes duration in the course applied for. The question paper will consist of 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). To clear/ pass stage I exam, candidate has to secure 50 % marks i.e 30 marks out of Max. 60 marks.
Stage II
Out of the candidates who have secured 50 % out of max.marks (i.e 30 marks out of Max. 60 Marks ) in written test (Stage-I), candidates 3 times the number of seats advertised will be called for clinical/practical /lab based assessment (carrying 40 marks). Clinical evaluation will be done by keeping 10 spots (One spot will carry weightage of Max.4 marks)
Final Selection for interview:
- Final result will be declared based on total marks obtained in stage-1 and Stage-II Examination (Total marks = Marks obtained in Stage I exam + Marks obtained in Stage II).
- If number of eligible applicants are less than 20 per seat only an Interview will be conducted.
- The composition of the interview panel will be same as that for a Senior Resident / Tutor in the concerned Speciality.
- Selected candidates must join within 15-days of the commencement of the session, and in case of non- response the seat will be offered to the next candidate in the waiting list. If the seats are unfilled by 31st July in the July session, the seat will be lapsed.
- Reservation will be as per Govt. of India Norms.

Eligibility for appearing in PDCC exit exam
75% Attendance is compulsory for appearing in exit exam. In case the candidate is short of attendance, will appear for the exam in next session (July).
Method of evaluation
- The selected candidates will have a three monthly formative evaluation (at 3, 6 and 9 months) which will consist of both the practical and theory components. Total formative assessment will be of 200 marks (100 for theory and 100 for practicals)
- Each course will have a summative practical and theory assessment. This assessment will be performed by at least two internal and two external examiners. Total summative assessment will be of 200 marks (100 for theory and 100 for practicals)
- The final assessment will be made on basis of combined scores of formative and summative assessments in theory and practicals. Candidates will be declared successful in the course only after securing at least 50% marks. Theory and practicals need to be separately passed.
