After lockdown, second wave of COIVD 19, the restructuring of the IT firms are being held by the boards and employees of respective firms. But that the same time the recent report says that, the attrition rate of IT firms are sliding now days. According to it, the cognizant had a 33 percent attrition rate in the September quarter of this year. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) had the lowest attrition rate in the quarter, at 11.9 percent, while Infosys had 20.1 percent, Wipro had 20.5 percent, and HCL Technologies had 15.7 percent.

However the every firms have started their work to reduce their attrition rate. One the strategy is giving promotion, salary hike and perks. May be for the reason the Accenture has announced mass promotion. However as per the report, around 80,000 employees have received the promotions. Out of 80,000 employees promoted by Accenture, almost 50% or 40,000 are from India. In 2021 alone, more than 1.2 lakh employees working with Accenture received promotions. Overall, around 13% of all Accenture employees have received the promotions.
