TN Hiked DA by 4%!!! Happy News For Govt. Employees: The government of Tamil Nadu has hiked the Dearness Allowance (DA) by 4%, with this new hike the DA will be increased from 38% to 42%. This is announced by the TN Chief Minister Mr. M.K.Stalin and the report also states that this will come into effect from 01.04.2023.
Over 16 lakh government employees including teachers and pensioners will be beneficiaries of this increment. The report also states that, the TN government has allocated Rs. 2,366.82 crore per year for this hike. On considering the public employee welfare and interest, the TN government has announced this hike irrespective of the spending cost says the report.
