New Hiring in India Increased by 29% – April June Quarter Result Revealed!! The number of job vacancies in India has increased by 9 percent in the April-June quarter, according to some reports. This means that the number of employments was 20% higher than in the previous quarter, and it has increased to 29% in the quarter from April to June 2022.
And according to the quarterly Hiring Monitor report published by the job site, 37% of job seekers said they found a job and experienced change their job in the last quarter, up from 46% the previous quarter. Shashi Kumar, Sales Head, India said that sectors like IT, healthcare, e-commerce have provided significant job opportunities and telecom jobs are expected to rise in the next few quarters with the advent of 5G.

This hiring rate continued to lead across all sectors, particularly IT and ITeS. Meanwhile, design and development accounted for 33%, operations and administration 29%, healthcare 86%, e-commerce 82% and accounts and finance 26%. Apart from this, recruitment activity has been found to be up to 93% in Bangalore, 87% in Mumbai, and 82% in Chennai, report said.
