Majority of the members of the DU’s Executive Council accepted the FYUP syllabi while only two members of the council opposed the scheme. The curriculum framework was formulated and curated on the basis of the suggestions given in the National Education Policy, NEP 2020. In February UGCF 2022 was approved by DU’s executive council back.

As per the report from the Press trust of India-PTI the syllabi of over 100 undergraduate courses were passed by a standing committee and then were tabled for approval at the time of meeting. After the completion of Syllabi preparation process that finished syllabi further will send to the standing committee to get the approval.
