Sikkim TET 2020 Notification OUT. The Sikkim Education Department will be conducting Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test in accordance with the provision of Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE ACT 2009) and the minimum qualification laid down by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) for a person to be eligible for appointment as Primary Teacher for Classes I to V and for Elementary (Graduate) Teacher for Classes VI to VIII. Hence, Education Department invites application from the local candidates for Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test 2019-2020. All those applicants who applied earlier for STET 2019 should not apply again, they will receive their Admit cards in their email.

Sikkim TET 2020 Education Qualification for Classes I-V (Primary Stage):
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC (Central),OBC(State) and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education ( D. El. Ed)
- Senior Secondary ( or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC(Central), OBC(State) and passed in final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 45 % in case of SC, ST, OBC (Central), OBC (State) and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)
Sikkim TET 2020 Education Qualification for Classes I-V (Elementary Stage):
- A./B.Sc./ with 50% marks , for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC(Central),OBC (State)and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.). OR B.A. /B.Sc. / with 50 % marks, for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC
- ST, OBC (Central), OBC (State) and passed or appearing in the final year 2 year Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.).
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks, for unreserved candidates and 45 % in case of SC, ST,OBC(Central),OBC (State) and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
