Karnataka PGCET 2019 Notification
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released Notification for Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) 2019 Admission to MBA / MCA/ M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Arch and Lateral Entry MCA Courses. Applications are invited from eligible candidates. Candidates can apply Online from 30.05.2019 (4.00 Pm) to 13.06.2019 up to 5.30 pm. Candidates who have paid the fees in the Bank to 14.06.2019 (Banking Hours).
Karnataka PGCET Exam Details:
Academic Eligibility for various Professional Courses:
MBA Full-time & Part-time:
- Candidates should have Passed in Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates) for Full-Time.
- Candidates should have Passed in Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates) (+) must have worked for not less than 3 years as on July 31, 2019 for Part-time.
MCA Full-time & Part-time & Lateral Entry:
- Candidates should have Passed in Bachelor’s Degree with Math/ Stats/ Comp. Sci./ Comp. App./ Comp. Prog./ Business Math/ Business Stats (any one subject) (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates) for for Full-Time & Part-time.
- Candidates should have Passed in Bachelor’s Degree in BCA/ B.Sc(I.T./ Comp. Sci) (+) Math in 10+2/ Graduate level (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates) for Lateral Entry.
ME/ M.Tech./ M.Arch. Full-time & Part-time:
- Candidates should have Passed in Valid GATE Score (OR) Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates) for Full-Time.
- Candidates should have Passed in Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years (+) 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ Category-I of Karnataka candidates) (+) must have worked for not less than 3 years as on July 31, 2019 for Part-Time.
Selection Process: Selection will be based on Common Entrance Test (CET), Document Verification and Practical Test.
Examination Fee:
- For General and OBC – Rs. 650/-
- For SC/ST & Category 1 of Karnataka Candidates – Rs.500/-
