84000+ Central Government Vacancies to be filled within December 2023!!! Union Minister Told.The Central Government informed the LokSabha on Tuesday that it had decided to fill the more than 84000 open positions in the Assam Rifles and the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). The open positions should be filled by December 2023.

As of July 31, 2022, there will be a total of 84,659 positions open in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles, stated Minister of State for Home NityanandRai addressing the LokSabha on Tuesday. The administration has determined that the open positions will be filled by December 2023. He added that an examination had already been held to fill 25,271 policeman positions (general duty).

NityanandRai, the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, responded to a question from Congress MP Deepak Baij, Trinamool Congress MP Mimi Chakraborty, and BharatiyaJanata Party MP RanjanbenDhananjay Bhatt regarding the recruitment of police officers. He claimed that the CAPF and Assam Rifle have a total of 84,659 open vacancies. Out of the total number of positions, the government has set aside 4,762 positions for the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, 4,762 positions for the Central Reserve Police Force, 23,435 positions for the Border Security Force, 11,765 positions for the Central Industrial Security Force, 11,143 positions for the SashastraSeemaBal, and 27,510 positions for the Central Reserve Police Force.

According to Mr. Rai’s statements and the Department of Personnel and Training’s directives from October 4, 2012, 10% of the openings in the Central Armed Police Forces and the Assam Rifles are set aside for former military members who are up to the level of Assistant Commandants.

SSC has already held the exam to fill the 25271 GD Constable positions, the speaker claimed.

Additionally, the government has allowed the reserve of 10% of Agniveer positions for individuals who are not permanently hired in the CAPFs and Assam Rifles. After serving four years in the armed services, the first group of recruits from the ex-Agniveer category would be eligible for the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and the Assam Rifles.
