4000 Vacancies In Police Department – Said Deputy CM!!! Get The Meghalaya News: The Deputy Chief Minister of Meghalaya Mr.PrestoneTynsong said in a recent meeting with Police officials on Friday that there are over 3500 to 4000 vacancies in the police department. At now there are on-going recruitment processes for over 1000 candidates in the police. This recruitment process will be finished within 2 to 3 weeks said Deputy CM.
After this recruitment process is done, the government is also planning to start another recruitment drive to fill up the remaining vacant position in the police department said Tynsong. The government is taking initiative to fill up these vacancies soon to increase the police strength in the state.
