According to UnearthInsight report in IT Industry the attrition in the second half is 17 to 19 percent but only 1.75 lakh people hired during this period. People joining for entry level jobs as freshers in IT sector then leaves after getting experience which creates a vacant hole for entry level jobs. The leaving rate is getting bigger in year after year.
This demands freshers to get hired in IT industry. According to Gaurav Vasu, Founder and CEO of UnearthInsight report “The IT industry’s perceived ‘war on talent’ is real and it’s getting intense with attrition a rising concern for the industry”. Over 2.5 Lakh fresher have been hired in more than 30 IT Service companies in India.
