Union government have a decision to hike the inflation relief (DR) by 5 percentages per month to more than four lakh pensioners. Government of Chhattisgarh has given consent for this. With the concurrence of the neighboring state governments, now from 1 May 2022, over 4.5 lakh pensioners in Madhya Pradesh will see an increase from 17% to 22% in the 7th Pay Commission, while for the 6th Pay Commission.
