To purchase up to a 9.94% equity ownership in the company, HDFC Bank had declared it will invest Rs.49.9 crore to Rs.69.9 crore in Go Digit-Life Insurance in two tranches.

A certificate of registration from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India must be granted before the insurance company Go Digit-Life Insurance can work with HDFC Bank to conduct life insurance business in India as a result of the recent rulings (IRDAI).
