UFI Company Has Taken The Manpower Reduction Action – 2700 Employees Fired! US-headquartered United Furniture Industries is laying off Employees.  Information is out that 2,700 employees have been fired in the first phase.

The global economic slowdown is affecting all sectors. In this situation, some leading companies are laying off employees to reduce administrative costs and reorganize the company. Currently, United Furniture Industries (UFI) has laid off 2700 employees. Information about this dismissal has been sent to the concerned employees through emails.

The move has created shock among the employees. Also, the laid-off employees are also unable to use the company’s medical insurance. Further, the dismissed employees have been requested to immediately return the relevant documents regarding the company’s equipment, inventory and delivery details. Doria Neal, a former UFI employee, has filed a lawsuit in US court against the sudden dismissal.
