GSEB 12th Board Exam Postponed:
GSEB (Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board) has planned to conduct the 12th board exam for 2021 in Feb/March. It was however rescheduled and was supposed to be held from May 10 to 25, 2021. But as the Coronavirus situation continues to create tension, the state government decided to postpone it even further. Earlier, the government had said that the state education department will review the COVID-19 situation in the state on May 15 and then announce the new dates for the GSEB Class 12 board exams.
The Gujarat government had earlier cancelled the 10th exam 2021 and promoted all the students to Class 11. The state government has also granted mass promotion to the students of Classes 1 to 9 and also Class 11 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the prevailing COVID 19 situation, the board has decided to delay the 12th exams further.
Official Statement:
The postpone news is confirmed by the CM of the state. Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani says “The exams however will be conducted once the Covid situation is under control,” told to the media. Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) have postponed the exam till further notice.
