The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has also reversed a previous judgement it made over the format of two board exams. Once a year, the ICSE and ISC board test will be held in 2023. The CISCE has decided to hold just one exam at both the ICSE and ISC levels at the conclusion of the academic year in 2023. The official announcement states, “The CISCE wants to organise the relevant examinations tentatively in February/March 2023. The specifics of the syllabus have not yet been made public.

Beginning with the current school year, the Uttar Pradesh MadhyamikShikshaParishad (UPMSP) will hold board exams in a new style. The future year’s final exams will be given in offline mode in March. Schools are required to hold pre-boards in January and half-yearly exams based on the material covered up until September prior to the finals. Pre-boards for classes 10 and 12 will take place from February 1 to 15. According to UPMSP, schools evaluate student performance based on the results of half-yearly and pre-board exams and provide additional sessions to guarantee concentrated preparation for the final board exams. The precise curriculum information is still pending. But this year’s exam format will be new.Multiple choice questions (MCQs) and subjective questions will each make up half of the question sheets.

The HS or class 12 exams will be administered from March 14 to March 27 by the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE). The board has additionally said that, in contrast to last year, tests will be held in 2023 using the entire syllabus. Chiranjib Bhattacharya, president of the WBCHSE, stated, “The HS test will be held between March 14 and 27 in 2023. The exam will follow the entire syllabus, and it won’t take place at home like it did this year, but rather in external exam centres. Class 10 or Madhyamik board exams have not yet been scheduled.

According to the academic calendar for 2023 published by the Gujarat board, the 10th and 12th grade exams would be held from March 14 to March 31. In contrast to last year, when the syllabus was shortened by 30 to 35 percent, the GSHSEB has stated that the tests will be held on the entire syllabus. The exam datesheet has not yet been made public by the board but it will probably do so a few days before the tests start.

The Bihar board has started the matric test registration process, but has not yet released the syllabus. The syllabus and board test schedule for the upcoming academic year have not yet been released in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Rajasthan, or Madhya Pradesh. It’s likely to be revealed soon.
